Pacific Economic Monitor – December 2019

The 2019 growth projection is adjusted downward for a deeper slowdown than foreseen in ADO 2019 and to accommodate a change in base year. GDP is now calculated using 2014 prices, no longer 2011 prices, which changes growth estimates from 2015.

Additional funds are provided in the form of official loans and grants, technical assistance, other concessional financing, and commercial cofinancing such as B loans, risk transfer arrangements, parallel loans and equity, guarantee cofinancing, and cofinancing for transactions under ADB’s Trade Finance Program.

Pilot Implementation of AquaRating in Fiji

乐动体育注册The objective of this pilot and demonstration activity (PDA) is to introduce the AquaRating Tool, an independent water-auditing tool, to the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF), as part of an ADB-funded investment program that will improve access to sustainable water supply and sewerage services in the Greater Suva Area. Piloting the tool in Fiji will provide a comprehensive performance assessment of the water utility and aid in evaluating the applicability of the AquaRating tool in Asia and the Pacific.
