乐动体育注册The 2020–2022 lending program marks the transition to a period beyond the current country partnership strategy, 2016–2020, but continues to focus on its five priority investment areas in support of the government’s agenda: (i) easing infrastructure constraints, (ii) improving human capital, (iii) promoting economic corridor development, (iv) improving rural livelihoods, and (v) providing climate- and disaster-resilient infrastructure and services.

Economic Forecast

乐动体育注册The economy grew robustly in fiscal year 2019 (FY2019, ended 30 June 2019) on strong expansion in industry. Inflation moderated with a good harvest. The current account deficit was narrower than forecast in Asian Development Outlook (ADO) 2019 as import growth slowed and exports accelerated beyond expectations, and as remittances rose to a new record. For FY2020, the ADO 2019 Update anticipates sustained high GDP growth, despite some deterioration in global growth and trade conditions, slightly higher inflation, and a continued moderate current account deficit.

Projects Cofinanced, 2014-2018

Cofinancing operations enable ADB’s financing partners, governments or their agencies, multilateral financing institutions, and commercial organizations to participate in financing ADB projects. Additional funds are provided in the form of official loans and grants, technical assistance, other concessional financing, and commercial cofinancing such as B loans, risk transfer arrangements, parallel loans and equity, guarantee cofinancing, and cofinancing for transactions under ADB’s Trade Finance Program.
